John O’Reilly is Chairman and CEO of O’Reilly Law Group, where he leads a team of experienced trial attorneys handling complex, high-stakes litigation across Nevada and beyond. For over four decades, he has represented clients in a wide range of high-value disputes, including matters involving business disputes, personal injuries, gaming, construction, real estate, healthcare, insurance, corporate law, and disputed estate matters. He has served as lead counsel in many of Nevada’s most consequential lawsuits, including multimillion-dollar multi-party cases that have shaped the state’s legal and business environment.

A formidable courtroom advocate, Mr. O’Reilly brings a litigation strategy grounded in decades of trial experience and a deep understanding of financial, regulatory, and industry-specific issues. His early work in the audit and tax departments of Arthur Andersen & Co. and Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young), along with his role as CEO and a Board member of publicly traded (NYSE) companies, gives him rare insight into complex commercial disputes from the boardrooms to the courtrooms.

His litigation practice includes mass torts, catastrophic losses, regulatory enforcement, internal investigations, estate disputes, personal injury, and construction defect claims. He is also experienced in gaming and administrative proceedings, including licensing challenges, disciplinary actions, and regulatory disputes—a strength enhanced by his service as Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission.

A Past President of both the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Las Vegas, and the Clark County Bar Association, Mr. O’Reilly is widely respected for his commitment to trial advocacy and the preservation of the jury system. He also advises clients on litigation strategy and risk management, drawing on his governance experience with international gaming and other publicly traded companies and complex compliance matters.
