Overview

O'Reilly Law Group respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Forms and inquiries

When you submit a form on this site (such as a contact, booking, or intake form), we collect the information you provide — typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message — to respond to and service your inquiry. We may share that information with the specific business or service professional needed to fulfill your request.

What your message contains stays with us. The text you type into a message or description field is never transmitted to any advertising platform. As described under Advertising and measurement, a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your name, email address and phone number is sent to our advertising platform so it can tell us that an inquiry came from one of our ads. You can prevent this entirely by declining non-essential cookies.

How we use information

Advertising and measurement

This website uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It tells us which of our advertisements bring people to the site and which of those visits turn into inquiries, so we are not paying for advertising that does not work.

When you use this site, the following may be shared with Meta, both from your browser and from our server:

Your choice. Selecting Decline non-essential on the cookie notice stops this collection. You can change that decision at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site or to contact the firm. You may also limit this through your own Meta account settings and through browser-level tracking protections.

Because this activity involves sharing information with an advertising platform, some state privacy laws treat it as a "sale" or "share" of personal information for targeted advertising. The controls above are how you opt out.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with: (a) service providers who help us operate this website (such as hosting, analytics, and communications vendors) under obligations to protect it; (b) the advertising and measurement platform described above, subject to your cookie choice; (c) the business or professional needed to fulfill a request you made; and (d) authorities when required by law.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
